Walden assumes his leadership role on the heels of the announcement that former Agenda head Aaron Levant is retiring from the trade show industry. Levant will remain as an advisor at Reed Exhibitions (RX) where he will be focusing on creating immersive event experiences across the entire portfolio of Reed events.

Walden will officially become the Group Vice President and head of the Fashion & Festival portfolio which includes five events. Current events under Walden's leadership include the Agenda Shows, Agenda Festival and ComplexCon. RX also plans to announce more events in the future.

Walden said he's been a supporter of Agenda and ComplexCon and that he's "excited for the opportunity to connect the dots, building progressive platforms, pushing boundaries and disrupting our industry’s norms.”

Prior to serving as a Senior Sales Director for Nike, Walden was a VP of Sales for the Magic tradeshow for eight years. He is known for his industry-specific relationships and ability to align retailers and brands.

Walden will be based in the RX Los Angeles office and will report to Hervé Sedky, RX's President, Americas.

RX organizes 500 events in 30 countries and operates 41 fully staffed offices. The company serves 43 industry sectors with trade and consumer events and is part of professional information solutions company Relx Group.

Walden's start date is scheduled for March 19, 2018. The next Agenda show is in Long Beach in June.
