Savile Row tailor Andrew Ramroop has been announced as the BBB Person of 2017 at Black British Business Awards on Thursday.
Ramroop is the creative director and master tailor of bespoke Savile Row institution Maurice Sedwell, where he did his first apprenticeship in the Seventies.
He is also the founder of the Savile Row Academy, which offers master classes and professional workshops in pattern cutting, fitting and remarking, trousers and waistcoat making, and coat/jacket making, providing students with the skills and experience they need for employment in established tailoring houses.
