According to WTiN, the Textile 4.0 conference is the first professional event dedicated to the Industry 4.0 concept and its effects on the textile industry. The conference will focus on the current developments in the industry and will give insights into the future of textiles.

The event consists of presentations and discussions, such as a keynote talk by Mark Harrop, CEO at WhichPLM. Other speakers include Mark Jarvis, Managing Director at WTiN; Dondu Unal Haktar, Head of Corporate Project Management at Hugo Boss Solutions; and Yves-Simon Gloy, Member of the Management Board, Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University.

In addition to talks and discussions, the conference also will organise an excursion to the SPGPrints experience centre in Boxmeer, the Netherlands on October 25. The experience centre features the Pike and Javelin industrial digital textile printers, part of the new wave of flexible production and intelligent customisation, which is a feature of Industry 4.0.

The Textile 4.0 channel is a new service from WTiN Intelligence, which is designed to help investors and decision makers in technology, manufacturing and retail to understand how the coming industrial evolution (Industry 4.0) may impact the future of their business.
