In honor of its 20th anniversary, Los Angeles brand 7 For All Mankind has unveiled its first full offering from creative director Simon Spurr, marking the premium denim brand's ready-to-wear debut.

The spring collection focuses on 7's signature denim, featuring updated versions of the brand's most popular styles and fits in a range of light to medium washes, whites and neutral colorways. To accompany the denim, Spurr designed ready-to-wear collections for women and men, including suiting, outerwear, dresses and blouses, available at a contemporary price point.

“Twenty years ago, 7 For All Mankind created a new way of dressing, one that made denim appropriate for any occasion -- work, play, evenings out,” said Suzanne Silverstein, president of 7 For All Mankind.

“In 2020, we celebrate that heritage by reissuing the jean that we launched with, made modern with sustainable fabric and recycled hardware details, and with an advertising campaign that is nostalgic yet forward-looking.”

Spurr, a British designer with over 20 years' industry experience, joined 7 to help the brand expand beyond denim and become a full-fledged lifestyle brand. He was named as the brand's global creative director in January 2019. Prior to joining 7, Spurr worked with brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Eidos.

“Denim will always be at the brand’s core, but with the Spring ’20 collection, we are entering a new era,” Spurr said. “Our goal is to continue breaking down the barriers between ready-to-wear and denim through innovation.”

Spurr's new collection is supported by a global spring campaign entitled 'Remember Your First,' starring Carolyn Murphy, one of the first supermodels featured in the brand’s early campaigns. Cato Van Ee, Arthur Gosse, Anais Mali and a curated cast of brand ambassadors will join Murphy in the campaign, where they will share stories about their first pairs of 7 jeans.

7 For All Mankind is further celebrating its anniversary by reissuing its original 080 Bootcut, as a limited release this spring.
