"Soho is a vibrant and culturally significant area, with a strong sense of community, it provides the ideal location for our first store outside the US. This opening coincides with the launch of our new European website, an important next step in our international roll out plans," said Steve Bock, CEO of Shinola.

Started nearly three years ago, Detroit-based Shinola honours the American manufacturing industry. The brand, which has three stores in the United States, namely in Detroit, New York and Minneapolis, also sells through fashion websites Mr Porter and Net-a-Porter in the UK and is present in France at Colette.
