Andam has revealed the 12 finalists for the 34th edition of its Fashion Awards. The ultimate decision will be made by a jury consisting of 31 members during the final presentation of the nominees on June 29.

Six designers are in the running for the Grand Prize (€300,000) and the Special Prize (€100,000). Among them is Italian designer Andrea Adamo, whose brand Andreadamo has been creating body-hugging unisex clothing since 2020. Duran Lantink, based in Amsterdam and Paris, champions upcycling through its gender-neutral collections. The third nominated brand, Ester Manas (Ester Manas & Balthazar Delepierre), draws inspiration from sisterhood and female empowerment, offering colourful, sexy, and size-inclusive pieces.

Marie-Christine Statz's label Gauchere combines geometric structures, meticulous tailoring, and a deep appreciation for raw materials. German brand GmbH specialises in menswear, employing intricate draping techniques to add complexity to its black and blue-toned underwear and coats. LGN, by Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, is a French menswear brand. His latest collection, "Les liaisons dangereuses," delves into the intricacies of masculinity.

In addition, three designers have been shortlisted for the Pierre Bergé Prize (€100,000). Avellano (by Arthur Avellano) has gained recognition for its hybrid latex creations, often seen on high-profile figures in social events. Ouest Paris, founded in 2022 by Arthur Robert, blends influences from Paris, Biarritz, and California, offering denim and streetwear-inspired garments. Vaillant, a Parisian women's ready-to-wear brand, embodies a unique identity that combines poetry, strength, and femininity.

Three designers are vying for the Fashion Accessories Prize (€100,000). Alighieri, by London-based Zambian designer Rosh Mahtani, is a jewellery brand that celebrates human imperfection, drawing inspiration from the Italian poet Dante Alighieri. Marco Panconesi, an Italian designer, established his eponymous brand in Paris in 2018, offering jewellery that fuses traditional Italian jewellery codes with contemporary aesthetics. Ukrainian-born Ruslan Baginskyi's eponymous hat brand, founded in 2015, draws inspiration from the designer's personal archives and the rich history of his homeland.

All finalists will receive financial and logistical support from the event's sponsors. The winners will be awarded a Swarovski trophy designed by last year's Andam Grand Prize winner, Botter. Alongside the 21 permanent members, this year's jury will include esteemed guests such as Pat Cleveland (iconic model from the 1960s and 1970s), Zar Amir Ebrahimi (Franco-Iranian actress, producer, and director), and Gigi Hadid (international supermodel).
