Bottega Veneta: Carlo Alberto Beretta new CEO

Bottega Veneta has appointed a new CEO. Milanese director Carlo Alberto Beretta will start his new role as of 7 January, 2015. He succeeds Marco Bizzarri, CEO of the luxury ready-to-wear and accessories label, promoted this past May to the position of CEO of the Kering group's "Luxury - Couture & Leather Goods" division.

This new Kering division overseas the brands Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Brioni, Christopher Kane, McQ, Stella McCartney, Tomas Maier and Sergio Rossi.

Carlo Alberto Beretta comes from the Italian group specialised in menswear, Ermenegildo Zegna, where he started in 2003 and most recently held the position of Director of Retail Development. Before that he worked at Valentino as a menswear brand manager and before that at the department store chain founded in Milan, La Rinascente.
