Le Col by Wiggins, the clothing collection announced earlier this year as a collaboration between Sir Bradley Wiggins and the Le Col brand, has finally been launched with apparel and accessories ranging from £15 up to £185.

Wiggins is one of the most successful cyclists in history so any collection under his name is clearly going to be in high demand, particularly given that his Mod-inspired personal style has already been something of a fashion influencer.

Le Col, which was founded by his former teammate and Team GB rider Yanto Barker, said that the collection has been “inspired by cycling’s history, and trade teams from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.” It added that “Le Col by Wiggins is for cyclists who recognise quality and performance, and want to combine that with a classic vintage aesthetic.”

Wiggins worked closely with Yanto and the Le Col team on the line with the star cyclist saying: “I wanted to create a range of cycling kit that captured my cycling world. Everything that I’ve experienced, achieved, and loved as a kid, as a junior racing in London, as a spectator watching my heroes, everything I’ve made in the Le Col by Wiggins collection goes back to a point in my history.”

The collection is spread across three ranges. The Hors Categorie has jerseys and bibshorts at £155 and £185; the Pro has them at £125 and £155; while in the Sport range the jersey is £85 and the bibshorts £125.

An additional Le Col by Wiggins Gilet is £140 while socks and musette are £15 each.

When the deal was announced back in February, the two partners said that it also includes Le Col becoming the technical kit supplier for the professional Team Wiggins, which had previously been signed to Rapha.
