Brands such as Agent Provocateur, Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Asprey, Barbour, Belstaff, Dean & Deluca, Erwin Pearl, Jeeves New York, Jimmy Choo, Jo Malone London, John Lobb, Joseph, L.K. Bennett, Molton Brown, Mulberry, Roland Mouret, Shi London, The Lowell and The Surrey participated in the initiative, organised by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District.

“British hospitality abounded on Madison Avenue, with British manicures at L.K. Bennett London to proper British shaves at Barbour; from an afternoon tea at Jimmy Choo and Mulberry to British chocolate tastings at Agent Provocateur and Erwin Pearl; and from a talk about Royal Warrants at Asprey to a presentation of unique works from The Rug Company at Alexander McQueen,” said Matthew Bauer, President of the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District.

The Great Britain on Madison Avenue event was launched as part of The Great Britain campaign, a promotion campaign run by the UK Government. It benefits Historic Royal Palaces, which conserves and maintains such iconic buildings as the Tower of London and Kensington Palace.

UK consulates in other cities are currently exploring whether they would like to replicate the event next year.
