Tjeerd van der Zee is leaving the company after 30 years to pursue other professional opportunities, C&A Europe announced.

Ralf Senden, currently CFO of C&A Asia and Latin America, will be promoted to CFO of C&A Europe on 1 September. He will also become a member of the EEB. However, he will continue to serve as CFO of C&A Asia and Latin America, combining his new job with his existing responsibilities.

“I would like to sincerely thank Tjeerd for his dedication and leadership over the past 30 years. He has been instrumental in C&A’s continued success, especially in the 18 years during which he, as a member of the EEB, helped set the strategic direction of the company in a variety of leadership roles,” said Edward Brenninkmeijer, CEO of C&A Europe.

Ralf Senden will report directly to Brenninkmeijer, who will take over the COO responsibilities from van der Zee.

“I am delighted to have found in Ralf an experienced CFO who is very familiar with the company and the retail sector,” Edward Brenninkmeijer concluded.
