Canada Goose has joined forces with innovative Korean label Juun.J for an avant-garde unisex capsule collection featuring the Toronto-based outerwear brand’s first-ever collaborative knitwear piece.
First presented at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in January, the four-piece capsule reimagines Canada Goose classics through the simultaneously minimalist and structured aesthetic that characterizes Juun.J’s collections, combining oversized silhouettes with high-performance technical textiles.
The collaboration’s headliner is the Resolute 3-in-1 Parka, which consists of a jacket and a down jacket that can be worn together or as separate pieces. Other features include a detachable hood, reflective details and cords for adjusting the parka’s fit.
The collection also includes two other parkas: the Snow Mantra Parka and the Expedition Parka, which is available in either red or black.
The capsule’s final piece – and Canada Goose’s first knitwear item in ten years of collaborations – is the Ashcroft Hoody, which uses the Canadian brand’s exclusive thermal mapping technology to prevent overheating. Available in either black or green, the Merino wool jumper’s hood and shoulders are also made in nylon for added strength.
Prices for pieces in the collection range from 595 euros for the Ashcroft Hoody to 1,750 euros for the Snow Mantra Parka.
The Canada Goose x Juun.J capsule launches on October 18, when it will be available on the Canada Goose website and in a selection of the brand’s physical stores. The collection will also be sold by a range of multibrand retailers, including Luisa Via Roma, Selfridges, Galeries Lafayatte Champs-Elysées and Saks Fifth Avenue.
