The race to sign new tenants is hotting up, given the activity in the UK commercial property sector of late. London-based Colliers has recruited three senior directors to its retail and F&B team. They are Aron Samra and Erin McDonald who will join from rival CBRE Group and Flora Young from another rival JLL. They will start at Colliers’ UK head office over the summer.

“Aron, Erin and Flora are highly renowned and experienced London advisors who provide leasing, strategic asset management, development and tenant mix advice for London’s leading property owners, including a number of eminent London estates”, noted Colliers.

Samra, who is currently a director at CBRE, has over 15 years’ experience in Central London real estate. He has advised the Crown Estate on Regent Street, JP Morgan Real Estate on Spitalfields in addition to a range of private and institutional central London land owners.

McDonald has over 10 years' experience in the London retail market, notably advising the Cadogan Estate on its retail holdings, as well as the Crown Estate, the Broadgate Estate on behalf of British Land, and a number of key landlords in the West End.

Young has been working in London retail and restaurants for over eight years, leasing and advising on a range of City and West End retail and leisure assets and development projects. Previous projects include acting for Royal London Asset Management on Bond Street Holdings in Mayfair and providing asset management expertise for Helical Plc on its Old Street assets.

The latest appointments follow the recent hire of Alistair Bews, who joined as a director in Colliers’ London team in May.
