LA ready-to-wear brand Cotton Citizen is celebrating its Selfridges launch with the opening of a pop-up store in the luxury department store’s Oxford Street branch this month.

Located on the third floor within the Denim Studio, the pop-up installation will feature bespoke fixtures and fittings designed to convey the brand’s signature hand dyed treatments.

The pieces will be showcased on brightly lit up racks, emphasizing different colour stories and mirroring the brand’s flagship store on Melrose Place, California.

Colour is key to Cotton Citizen’s proposition, with each piece hand dyed and manufactured in the brands’ family-owned factory, in Los Angeles. The label launches new colours each month, and combines innovative wash treatments to give all styles a unique character.

The 12.9 sq mt pop-up in Selfridges marks the launch of the brand in the UK. Adam Vanunu, Founder and Creative Director commented: “Following the success of our flagship store on Melrose Place, California, we have seen unprecedented growth. The London market has always been a natural alignment for Cotton Citizen and we are excited to be a part of such a vibrant shopping destination”.

The pop-up store opens on 17 March in Selfridges Oxford Circus.
