Dirk Bikkembergs has found a new partner for its underwear and swimwear lines. With its previous partner, Albisetti, having gone bankrupt, the couture sports label from the couture group Zeis Excelsa has just signed a new license agreement with Perofil "for the creation, production and distribution of underwear and homewear lines, men's and youth socks, as well as beachwear for men, women and youth," the company said in a press release.

A historic company founded in 1910 in Bergamot by the Perolari family, Perofil is a specialist in men's underwear and pajamas and claims revenue of 16 million euros. It produces its own brands as well as other brands under license, such as Ermenegildo Zegna Underwear.

In the framework of this agreement, Perofil picks up from where Albisetti left off in a way as to immediately produce and market the collection for the spring/summer 2015 collection.

Dirk Bikkembergs has multiplied its licenses these last few months: with the Vicence Sinv group for ready-to-wear; Bologna-based company Tichebox, specialised in travel items, for leather accessories and bags; and Como-based weaver Canepa for fabric accessories for men and women.
