For its first ever post-Christmas sale, Everlane gave customers the option to choose how much they want to spend.

Online retailer Everlane launched its first post-Christmas short sale, which ended Wednesday, in which clients picked the price they wanted to pay for a product. However, with each of the three price options, the brand explained exactly what the client was paying for: the lowest price covered only shipping and production, whereas the highest (non-discounted) price helped pay for "production, shipping and overhead for [their] 70-person team."

Everlane is known for its ethos of transparency and fairness, donating all its Black Friday profits to factory workers this year, and closing the site entirely on the same day in 2012 and 2013.
