Gap has launched a temporary space in Westfield White City to showcase its more eco-friendly Sky High Rise jeans.

Set to run until the end of October, the pop-up store is located on the first floor of the London shopping centre.

The space introduces a wide range of the brand’s Sky High Rise fit, which is made with the Washwell programme. Compared to conventional wash methods, this process uses at least 20% less water, saving millions of litres since 2016.

The denim range is inspired by an old-school cut with a higher than average rise to create an effortlessly nostalgic 90s look. Over 30 different washes are available, from light indigo to midnight blue shades.

Gap is not the only brand to have chosen Westfield London for a pop-up venture in recent months. Designer department store Harrods has opened an 800,000 sq ft outlet store in the mall that will run until the end of the year, carrying over 100 internationally renowned brands across fashion, beauty and home.

The shopping centre is owned by Unibail-Rodamco Westfield, which last month revealed that footfall at the destination was in the 60%-70% range compared to last year.
