STOCKHOLM, May 17 (Reuters) - Swedish fashion giant Hennes & Mauritz (HMb.ST) reported on Monday 17 May sales at its established stores fell a worse-than-expected 6 percent in April.

Total sales were up 4 percent.

The figures compared with an average forecast for a drop of 4.5 percent at stores operating for more than one financial year and 6.1 percent rise in total sales.
