H&M has upsized and relocated in Milton Keynes to centre:mk, the town’s increasingly successful mall. And the new store will be special, according to the fashion retailer.

Set across two floors and featuring both H&M and H&M Home, it will offer a “world-leading interior look and feel for the brand” when it opens on 1 April.

This includes a “much-awaited” introduction of H&M Home to the area and will feature self-service checkouts together with new click & collect lockers. The store will also offer H&M’s Garment Collection and Recycling service.

The current H&M store, located in Midsummer Place, will close on 31 March. Customers visiting the new store “will notice a welcoming interior, a relaxed environment, and products will be displayed in a curated and inspirational way” it said.

“We are beyond excited to bring our much-loved H&M Home concept to our new centre:mk Milton Keynes store,” said the brand’s UK & IE Head of Construction & Facilities, Gemma Leach. “Customers can enjoy our curated collections and spaces where style, creativity and culture are celebrated, ultimately elevating our customer experience.”

Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s mall director, added: “H&M’s decision to relocate… while upsizing, demonstrates the centre’s alignment with [the retailer’s] agenda and its ability to deliver significant performance. We consistently outperform national benchmarks due to the appeal of one of the strongest anchor line-ups in the UK.”
