Bahamas-based British designer and entrepreneur India Hicks is adding to her “affordable luxury” direct-sales offer with the launch of new Curated Collections featuring “unexpected finds” from both well known and emerging designers and brands.

All of the Curated Collections will be exclusive to India Hicks and offered in limited editions.

The initiative starts with handmade sunglasses from London-based Finlay & Co as well as apparel from Holicow, featuring a modern take on the traditional craft of hand-blocked Indian prints.

The plan is that the curated offer will become a quarterly project with other launches this year to include Jonathan Adler,  Anna New York,  Dempsey & Carroll,  Eberjey,  Day Birger et Mikkelsen,  Bird + Knoll, and Hat Attack.

The items will only be available to buy through an India Hicks Ambassador or on the company’s website with the next collections launching for the autumn and Christmas seasons.

The company operates a business model built around its ‘Ambassadors’, which is an update of the social model pioneered by brands such as Avon earlier in the 20th century. The Ambassadors are women who run their own business, set up their own website and host Get Togethers.
