London’s Marylebone Village has two newcomers to “further enhance the area for our community”, said the area’s property owner/manager Howard de Walden Estate.

JOTT

First off, French fashion retailer JOTT (Just Over The Top) opens its first UK store at 103 Marylebone High Street in early September.

The 1,140 sq ft store will feature the brand’s casualwear collection including jackets, hoodies, joggers, sweatshirts and bags.

Founded in Marseille in 2010 the retailer operates over 150 stores across France, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland.

The second newcomer is vintage-inspired UK fashion label O Pioneers having opening its first bricks and mortar space measuring 850 sq ft at 76 Marylebone Lane.

O Pioneers

Founded by jewellery designer Clara Francis and home seamstress Tania Hindmarch, the womenswear retailer uses end-of-stock heritage fabrics to create staple wardrobe pieces.

Hindmarch said: "As a small, independent women's clothing brand the wonderful mixture of curated stores and eateries in Marylebone Village feels like the perfect fit for us and our customers.

"We opened the shop only a few weeks ago and have already seen so many people come through our doors. Everyone has been so welcoming it already feels like we’ve always been here."

Rob Kirk, Head of Retail and Leisure at The Howard de Walden Estate, added: “Healthy demand remains for our prime central London location, and we are very pleased to welcome these new and established brands to Marylebone Village, each adding to our already diverse mix of retail and F&B operators.”

He added: “Visitor numbers continue to grow, and we look forward to a successful second half to the year as people continue to return to central London.”
