The brand is linking with the Belfast-based distributor that was founded in 2016 and “has established a strong network of trusted retailers across Ireland”.

Bleubird said “Jack Wolfskin’s outdoor products and company mantra will resonate with its sellers and their customers”.

Steve Rosier, UK Country Manager, Jack Wolfskin, said that Bleubird is made up of “a team of young and energetic outdoor enthusiasts that we align closely with on many relevant points, from corporate responsibility to social and environmental impact. For this reason, this partnership makes perfect sense.”

Overall, the German brand has more than 490 Jack Wolfskin stores and over 4,000 points of sale worldwide.

Like many other outdoor labels, it’s proving itself to be adept at adapting to modern consumer sensibilities and recently co-launched a documentary ‘Serengeti of America’ with environmental streaming platform WaterBear, airing from this month.

It highlights the drive to re-wild and restore the Great Plains of North America and supports a broader initiative to inspire action through storytelling.
