The goal of the partnership is to create globally distributed content available on multiple platforms that will be supported by merchandising, publishing, sponsorship and special events.

Derik Murray, producer at Network Entertainment said, "The opportunity to collaborate with John Varvatos has quickly inspired a slate of projects in development that we are both excited and honored to co-create together."

Varvatos founded his label in 2000 after getting his start in menswear at Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. He has won awards and recognition for his menswear designs from the CFDA and from GQ. In 2014 he founded a record label and continues to tie his brand into the music industry.

Varvatos explained, "My lifelong passion with music, and the eclectic style of the many artists I admire, was the catalyst for my interest in fashion, and my love of film and photography is a natural extension of my spirit of creativity."

This season, Varvatos separated his runway show from NYFW and instead held it over Grammy's weekend. He also recently launched a collection with Nick Jonas.

The first film and tv project to be produced from the new partnership is underway now. It is based on Varvatos' book which was published in 2013 and documents the elements of rock style that are intrinsic in the music community.

Additional projects are in development.
