British contemporary label Joseph has announced the arrival of two co-creative directors with Anna Lundbäck Dyhr and Frederik Dyhr taking the creative helm of the upscale brand.

Anna Lundbäck Dyhr and Frederik Dyhr are now co-creative directors of Joseph - Joseph

Between them they have an impressive list of roles covering the past 20 years with Anna Lundbäck Dyhr having most recently worked as a ready-to-wear design consultant for the brand in its Paris design studio.

Before that, she held senior design roles at Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, Uniqlo U and COS, giving her insight across a wide range of price and taste levels.

Frederik’s previous positions have included being global creative director menswear at Tommy Hilfiger, VP design menswear at Belstaff and senior designer at Burberry.

Anna originally started working for Jospeh two years ago and with Frederik having now joined her at the design studio and atelier in Paris, they’re sharing responsibility for the women’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

CEO Barbara Campos said they have “an impressive range of experience and expertise. Together they bring an invaluable combination of creativity and commercial thinking, which will further strengthen our brand and business”.

Joseph has seen a number of creative directors in recent years with Louise Trotter having left two years ago, shortly before CEO Campos joined at the same time as Susanna Clayton took over in the creative role.

Joseph was founded in 1966 by the late Joseph Ettedgui. He launched its own label in 1983 and today the brand has 23 global stores, over 400 stockists and a webstore.
