BNPL giant Klarna has been growing fast and clearly wants to grow even faster with the payments firm about to launch a three-day event targeting its many millions of consumers around the world.

The three-day Dream Deal Days event starts next Friday (27 May) and continues into that weekend with the company saying it will “help consumers save money and get exclusive deals on the products they have been dreaming of”.

The company now reaches 150 million consumers and the event is designed to to mark this milestone.

It also deals with 400,000 merchants and the sale event will see it working with selected merchants such as Crocs, Farfetch & Pandora on exclusive deals and product drops.

It will happen across 19 markets globally and the company surveyed 19,000 consumers in those markets, finding that almost half (46%) currently have an item they would describe as “their ideal dream purchase”, while almost as many (43%) are planning to make a dream purchase for someone other than themselves.

And even though 37% argue that it's impossible to put a price tag on what should be considered an ideal dream purchase, the top reason it has not yet been bought is because it's considered too expensive (62%).

With that in mind, it said the event “will help consumers save money and get great deals on dream purchases found on wishlists all over the world, including the millions that have been saved on Klarna’s in-app wishlists”.

The deals will be available through Klarna.com, the Klarna App and participating merchant’s websites.

There will also be the opportunity to win prizes by entering into a competition organised by Klarna to celebrate some of the milestones from its 17-year history. Prizes include global live experiences featuring familiar famous faces from previous campaigns.
