Graduated from London’s famous Central St Martin's School, Kim Jones has joined the Louis Vuitton team at the age of 32. Mr. Jones will be succeeding Paul Helbers, who arrived in 2007, as Louis Vuitton’s menswear style director. In today’s context, this has only intensified rumors regarding Marc Jacob’s possible arrival at Christian Dior.

Kim Jones already has a substantial résumé, including past experiences as stylist and as creative director at big fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Mulberry, Hugo Boss and Umbro. Mr. Jone’s style is also clearly apparent in the eponymous brand that he created in 2003. His first exhibition took place at London Fashion Week and he was then soon to be awarded the “Menswear Designer” prize by the British fashion Council in 2006 and 2009. Finally, he has also collaborated as a fashion journalist for New York Times’ T Magazine, Dazed and Confused or even Pop Magazine.
