Coolican joins Milk Makeup after almost 16 years with L’Oreal, with experience spanning several international markets including Canada, France, South Asia Pacific, the UK & Ireland and the United States.

Coolican has experience in team leadership, marketing and international expansion, which the company expects will help amplify its message in the U.S. and abroad.

“We are thrilled to have Tim join the team at Milk Makeup. He brings deep, global experience in brand building through digital-first initiatives that grow awareness and cultural impact,” said Mazdack Rassi, co-founder of Milk Makeup.

“With his leadership, we look forward to strategically entering new markets and expanding the Milk Makeup community globally.”

Founded in 2015, the brand delivers cruelty-free, paraben-free, 100-percent vegan formulas developed in-house in Downtown New York.

Milk offers over 80 products through exclusive retailers, including in Sephora in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, and Cult Beauty in the U.K., as well as is available in the U.S. via the brand’s ecommerce site

In December, Seoul-based cosmetics giant Amorepacific Group formed a stragetic partnership with Milk, becoming a minority shareholder of the company.

Through the partnership, the K-beauty conglomerate is expected to help support Milk Makeup’s global expansion, mainly as it prepares to enter the South Korean marketplace.
