Paris Fashion Week: Sophie Guyot launches So…Couture by David Pirnia

Boosted by the success of her So... concept, launched in Berlin last July and soon to be featured in New York (next February), Sophie Guyot will replicate in Paris, in collaboration with David Pirnia. Their association spawned So…Couture by David Pirnia, a new showroom dedicated to brands offering evening wear and haute couture collections.

Now that semi-couture and cocktail dresses are in the limelight again, a craze notably sparked off by Middle Eastern customers, the French show organiser -who notably launched the Fame event in Paris - and the British commercial agent have decided to target this segment. They will launch a showroom to be hosted from 3rd to 7th March 2016 at the Westin Paris-Vendôme hotel.

The location choice is strategic: though the showroom will not be featured within a trade show as for previous editions of So..., it will still be close to the main events and fashion shows.

In terms of ambience, So...Couture by David Pirnia will adopt the same principle featured in Berlin and planned for New York, highlighting the proximity with a location which favours a cosy, personalised atmosphere.

Finally, as for range, buyers will discover brand from all continents, among them Phuong My (Vietnam), Arzu Kaprol (Turkey), Ludmilla Couture (Romania) and Amati Aggarwal and Jatin Varma (India).

The next Berlin edition of So... will run from 18th to 20th January as part of the Show & Order trade show, while New York's will take place from 22nd to 24th February, within the Edit show.
