Italian high-end jeweller Pomellato has opened a new Los Angeles store in Beverley Hills, located in the iconic Rodeo Drive shopping district.

Located at number 2 Rodeo Drive, the 1,700-square-foot Pomellato store boasts the brand's signature lacquered Montenapoleone red on the façade and a band ring as a door handle, meant to recall "mid-century classic architecture," according to a press release.

Inside, Dimore Studio has once again outworked the Milanese jeweller's heritage craftsmanship with a touch of California, as seen in the gold and red fixtures throughout with a long velvet couch for customers to comfortably browse.

Established in 1967, Pomellato has a rich connection to California. The Italian came to the jewellery furore at a time of California's "Summer of Love" and the global women's movement; prompting Pomellato to create its ready-to-wear jewellery concept, targeted at the "independent woman."

"A haven of freedom and innovation, California was the home to the Summer of Love, and today to Pomellato, in the same spirit," said Sabina Belli, CEO of Pomellato.

"Pomellato feels right at home in California and we are excited to embark on a West Coast adventure."

Pomellato is known for its high-end Italian jewellery, but with injections of colour. The house’s signature is “new precious” gemstones and its mainstay collections will be available to at the new Beverley Hills location. This includes Montenapoleone, Iconic, Sabbia, M’Ama Non M’Ama and Nudo

The Pomellato Beverly Hills Flagship opened its doors on August 24 and is located on Two Rodeo Drive, at 214 North Rodeo Drive, Los Angeles.
