The bi-annual Paris fabric trade show Première Vision is to offer an even wider selection of exhibitors at its next edition from 12 to 14 February. The show boasts 721 confirmed exhibitors, against last year’s figure of 678. The show’s new arrivals mainly originate from Italy and Turkey but also Japan, China, Switzerland and Egypt.

KKnitwear Solutions will be making a comeback to the show, after the success of the last edition, which was also its first time at the show. The creative knitwear section of the show will bring together 26 of the sectors specialists. Five new companies will be making their debut appearance in the sector: the Chinese Alphatex Knitting and Tongxiang Jiayu Fashion, Spain’s Parrillu’s, Portuguese A. Ferreira & Filhos, as well as German machine maker H. Stoll Gmbh & Co.

Première Vision isn’t the only Première Vision Pluriel show to be doing well of late. Indigo, the creative textile and surface design show is expecting 167 exhibitors this year compared to just 157 last year, 15 of those being first-timers at the show. ModAmont will be rounding up 280 accessories and finishing specialists, compared to 246 one year ago. Amongst these are 21 new exhibitors.

At the next edition of the show, the six Première Vision tradeshows that make up Première Vision Pluriel are expecting to see 55,000 visitors, which represents a small decline against last year. “The current environment isn’t ideal,” said Phillippe Pasquet CEO to FashionMag.com. Denim by Première Vision, however, beat its own record for number of visitors, counting a total of 2,676 attendees over the two days, up 5% on the previous edition.
