The collection debuted at Shop Small at Made LA this month, alongside Maison Kitsuné, Sugar High Love Stoned, Maryam Nassir Zadeh and Sami Miro, which all operated retail experiences at the two-day event, and rapper A$AP Ferg who presented a collection from his Traplord brand. Opening Ceremony also hosted a fashion show at the event and rapper Wiz Khalifa performed.

The menswear brand by Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper initially got in touch with its latest collaborator Yung Jake for a Vogue shoot for the publication’s September issue. The brand told Hypebeast that they used to surf with Jake’s older brother, who currently operates Tripoli Gallery in Southampton.

The new collaboration collection analyzes the anatomy of a sweatsuit, boasting variations of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, shorts and joggers. All of the pieces in the collection feature technology inspired graphics, such as tangled Apple USB cords and CDs on Jake’s signature tribal prints, upside down smiley faces and dragons.

Yung Jake has been described as an “artist born on the Internet” for his use of technology and computer related digital art. The Los Angeles-based artist and rapper has earned a Webby for making portraits out of emojis.

The limited edition capsule collection will make its rounds again in New York City during NYFW.
