Sample sales brand Curate launches e-commerce site
In a bid to continue operating during the lockdown, sample sales organiser Curate is taking its physical pop-up events into the digital world.
The company has announced that it has developed an e-commerce platform which launches this Thursday 23 April with Australian activewear brand P.E Nation.
The flash sale will be open for five days only and will be exclusive to Curate’s more than 22,000 subscribers, shipping deliveries across the UK and internationally.
Curate Sales has previously produced sample sales for designers including Victoria Beckham, Philip Lim 3:1, Christopher Kane, Self Portrait and Paige, among others.
The private shopping events offer consumers a chance to buy discounted designer stock from previous seasons.
Debbie Cartwright, managing director of Curate Sales, said: “We’re super excited about taking the Curate Sales online, it’s something we’ve always talked about and during these unprecedented times, there is no better time than now.
“Moving forward we will be providing our subscribers both an on/offline shopping experience.”
Some 5% of proceeds from the P.E Nation sale will be donated to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Urgent Appeal, which supports NHS staff and volunteers caring for coronavirus patients.
