On 10th October, in the presence of French President François Hollande, Sarenza and supply chain specialist XPO Logistics have inaugurated the new logistics hub for the French online footwear retailer, in Réau, France. The facility built by XPO Logistics extends over an area of 19,500 m², and it includes a 500 m2 bespoke photography studio, directly linked to the warehouse. At the facility, XPO personnel will manage the warehousing of 2.6 million articles, and the customised preparation and delivery of 6 million items per year.

The hub was developed to support Sarenza's future European growth, as well as the evolution of its e-commerce business and its new services for online customers.

XPO Logistics is one of the world's top 10 logistics and supply chain specialists. It manages an integrated network of people, technology and equipment in 34 countries, with over 88,000 operators at 1,440 sites, dealing with transportation and logistics.

XPO's international headquarters are located in Greenwich, Connecticut (USA), while the European headquarters are in Lyon, France.

French e-commerce company Sarenza is specialised in the online sale of shoes and accessories. It is present in 27 European countries with a selection of over 750 brands and 55,000 models. The company is managed from 2007 by Stéphane Treppoz and Hélène Boulet-Supau, and it is based in Paris, where all its 375 employees of 15 different nationalities work.

In 2015 the website's revenue reached €200 million, recording a 20% growth. It offers free delivery within 24 hours, a 100 days return period, its own internal customer service department and a range of contemporary collections.

In 2014 the company launched the women's shoes label 'Made by Sarenza', and in September 2016 it was the turn of 'Mr Sarenza' for men's shoes.
