Seven Dials to launch Winter Festival later this month
Seven Dials has been one of property giant Shaftesbury’s success stories in attracting tenants since retail’s reopening in May. So the Covent Garden location is to celebrate with its own three-day Winter Festival this month.
The event, spread across 19-21 November, will feature live on-street music and entertainment, creative workshops, seasonal menus, and late night Christmas shopping with in-store offers.
The festival line-up will feature everything from traditional brass bands and gospel choirs, to complimentary glitter stations, wreath making, and even a pop-up pantomime.
Added attractions will include mulled wine carts, hot chocolate stations and festive food, including roasted chestnuts to roast turkey pizzas and Alpine wines, lining the streets, while complimentary ticket holders will enjoy an equally complimentary drink from the Seven Dials Prosecco truck each evening. The area will be decked in a festive light installation.
A host of Seven Dials brands will be offering 20% off in-store including Emin & Paul, Miller Harris, Coco de Mer, and Murdock. Visitors can also pop by Away, Benefit, Ron Dorff, Cubitts or Bloch to receive a gift-with-purchase, Superga for free personalisation or Dinny Hall for a prize draw.
Following last year’s Christmas lockdown disaster for retail, the extra effort this year is paramount to the industry’s revival. So Shaftesbury is certainly pulling out all the stops, hosting this second central London shopping festival alongside its main feature on Soho’s Carnaby Street.
