Skechers has become the latest major retail brand to upsize, taking a bigger space at designer outlet village Caledonia Park in Scotland.

The lifestyle and athletic footwear brand has increased the size of its store by over 1,000 sq ft “in a move that illustrates the strong and successful performance seen by leading international brands at the destination”, said owner/operator Railpen. It follows Boss and M&S making the same announcements at other malls in the past fortnight.

Increasing its size to 3,300 sq ft, the new Skechers store offers an “enhanced and diversified product line-up” of footwear, apparel and accessories.

Railpen noted the larger Skechers store “emphasises the strong performance and success seen by major retail brands at Caledonia Park and highlights the continual growth of the destination following its successful £10 million refurbishment”.

Maria Averkina, Asset and Development Manager at Railpen, added: “The upsize of Skechers demonstrates that leading names in the industry are enjoying continual success at Caledonia Park, and are choosing to be bigger and better, while understanding the significance of outlets to consumers who are seeking the ideal combination of variety, value and experience”.
