St Enoch marks a significant milestone in SuperGroup's expansion

The 14,600 sq ft store marks a major milestone in the rise of SuperGroup, whose iconic Superdry brand is worn by celebrities from Zac Efron to Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, Shakira and Kate Winslett.

The new store will bring SuperGroup’s total store count to 59, of which 22 are in the UK. It follows a number of other high profile openings in major retail centres such as Lakeside, Essex and London’s Westfield Centre.

SuperGroup’s founding partner and CEO, Julian Dunkerton said: ‘Glasgow is one of the UK’s busiest retail centres outside London and it is fitting that our newest Cult store should also be our largest to date. A great deal of work and creativity have gone into the store’s design and fitting out, and we are optimistic that it will open as spectacularly as our other stores.”

Over the past 18 months, SuperGroup Plc, which employs over 1,550 people, opened a number of Superdry stores in Belgium, France, Germany, Scandinavia, the US, Australia and South America. The retailer also recently signed separate deals to open 13 stores across the United Arab Emirates, a series of department store concessions in Taiwan and a further six stores in Australia.
