As the classic video game franchise swings back into the public consciousness following the release of surprise success Tetris 99 on the Nintendo Switch, the Tetris brand has announced a slew of new fashion and beauty licenses in celebration of its 35th birthday.

Products resulting from the upcoming collaborations, which together represent the brand’s biggest expansion of its lifestyle product offering to date, will include makeup, accessories, t-shirts, day wear, socks and baby gear, among others.

In the US, Tetris will be teaming up with LA-based streetwear brand Fairplay to offer a collection of graphic t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants, and will also be collaborating with makeup subscription service Ipsy on a limited edition Tetris x Ipsy Glam Bag and cosmetic collection.

Tetris’ other stateside partners include cloth diaper manufacturer Kanga Care, with whom the brand will release a range of baby-related products in June, and Sock It to Me, who will launch a Tetris-themed sock collection this summer.

The game franchise will also be partnering with Japanese apparel company Baroque Japan’s Moussy brand for a t-shirt collection, which will be available in Japan, as well as exclusively in the US in the label’s New York City location, from June.

Before this, beachwear brand MC2 Saint Barth will launch a pair of Tetris men’s boardshorts, which will be available worldwide on the label’s e-commerce platform from spring.

Tetris will also be launching two China-exclusive collaborations with menswear brand GXG and womenswear label Peacebird Women.

The collaborations were organized through Tetris’ global licensing agent network, which includes Blitz Licensing in the United States, IMG in Asia, Dentsu Inc. in Japan and Maurizio Distefano: The Evolution of Licensing in Italy.
