Thom Browne launches new silhouettes for 2021 football capsule
Right on time for Thanksgiving day, Designer Thom Browne has launched its annual football collection introducing three new silhouettes for 2021.
The collection of football-inspired apparel features grey and navy classics reimagined alongside seasonal offerings. New this year, the brand launches an athletic four-bar mesh practice jersey, four-bar down fill overcoat and four-bar down fill muff. Fans will also recognize the fou-bar down scarves and four-bar sweats, as well as the heritage mid-top sneaker and football backpack from 2020.
Finally, the collection is characterized by the brand’s signature tricolor stripes. It launches with a campaign shot by photographer Andrew Jacobs in a stadium in the Bronx, New York. The tradition began in 2015 with the brand’s inaugural football game and has launched a football collection every year since.
Thom Browne is widely recognized for challenging and modernizing today’s uniform. Browne launched his business in 2001 with suits and expanded into ready-to-wear and accessories collections for both men in 2003 and women in 2011.
