It’s being billed as an “exciting new era of Thomas Pink”. Although there has been no official announcement, “English shirting from the heart of London for life in the 21st Century” is back as a pureplay digital store.

Musician Reuben James heads the 'Pink People' promotional campaign

The menswear website was relaunched last week with little fanfare, selling shirts, ties, socks and pocket squares with prices ranging £18-£175, the latter for a tailored-fit shirt.

The retailer is debuting “a new look and offer” under creative director Dean Gomilsek-Cole who will develop the “exciting new era, reimagining a beloved brand”, its Instagram site has said.

A music-themed promotional campaign, Pink People, is being fronted by musician Reuben James.

A casualty of the Covid-19 pandemic, the shirtmaker shuttered last year after its 70%-owner LVMH  was reportedly trying to sell the business it bought in 1999 for around €48m (£41.6m).

Thomas Pink’s brand and intellectual property rights were bought by former JD Sports Fashion trading director Nick Preston in February. A new holding company called Thomas Pink Shirtmaker was set up in the US.
