The Ugg brand has announced the upcoming launch of a collaboration with American fashion brand Eckhaus Latta for the fall/winter 2019 season. This collection of footwear and coats was unveiled last week at New York Fashion Week.

Collaborations continue for Ugg, each time bringing something fresh to the brand's offering. After joining forces with the Japanese streetwear brand Bape, UGG headed to New York Fashion Week to present the fruit of an exceptional partnership with Eckhaus Latta. The result is a collection of footwear styles -- sometimes inspired by iconic Ugg models -- as well as a series of coats.

"We like the fact that the Ugg products are so laid-back that they've surpassed their casual status to become style icons," said the American brand's designers, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, in a statement. "To be able to add something to this icon has been an honor."

The collaboration brings a collection of six footwear creations -- four women's styles and two unisex designs. These include the "Court Boot" and "Court Mule," with a wooden heel contrasting with lamb suede and a sheepskin lining, as well as the "Court Mule Open Toe," finished in suede and sheepskin, and the "Court Not Clog" featuring Toscana sheepskin.

A boot model, inspired by the "Classic" Ugg book, and a slide style complete this footwear selection. These "Block Boot" and "Block Slide" models are both unisex designs.

The collection also features four coats in Toscana sheepskin or curly sheepskin. The collection is due out in September.
