Ugg has launched its Ugg Collective campaign for Fall 2017 featuring creative Californians designed to invoke feelings of "uniqueness and elevated position."

This is the second Ugg Collective campaign this season. It was first introduced for Spring/Summer. The fall campaign features actor Kyle MacLachlan, musician Kim Gordon and model Lola McDonnell as well as skaters, surfers and other Californian artists.

According to the brand, Ugg Collective is "a group of real people who embody our values and the spirit of California. They are artists, surfers, writers, activists, and free spirits, and in telling their stories, we tell our own."

Andrea O'Donnell, brand president for Ugg said the goal of the Ugg Collective is to celebrate "the diversity and spirit of the California lifestyle."

MacLachlan has had a career renaissance lately as Showtime featured the return of the cult drama Twin Peaks which he starred in earlier this summer. Gordon has LA roots having studied at Otis Art Institute and as a founding member of the band Sonic Youth.

McDonnell has 20,000 Instagram followers and posts images that invoke a cool beachy California vibe the Ugg brand is aiming to capture.

The fall campaign is shot with models wearing retro denim and surf pieces. The key Ugg pieces include the brand's Classic boot and fur embellished styles.

The campaign will go live in print advertising and in Ugg stores. It will also live globally through videos and still photography on the brand's digital channels.
