As part of the deal, 43 Urban Outfitters stores in 17 states and urbanoutfitters.com will now carry two of the brand’s core products: High Beauty High Expectations Cannabis Seed Facial Oil and High Five Cannabis Facial Moisturizer.

According to a press statement from the brand, both products were developed by founder, Melissa Jochim, to protect skin from stress-inducing inflammation, with all High products using cannabis sativa seed oil extracts that are legal and free of THC and CBD. In addition, High uses certified organic ingredients and all of the brand’s products are vegan, cruelty-free, non-GMO and naturally farmed.

As an added boost to the brand’s holistic image, High also prioritizes ethical production and manufacturing practices.

"We take great pride in our manufacturing practices,” Jochim said. “Our lab is powered by solar power, our cartons meet forest stewardship standards, and the ink is vegetable based. All components and cartons are recyclable. We are focused on the entire High Beauty experience at a higher level. It's not just about the products, but what we offer as a brand."

Urban Outfitters is the latest name on a growing list of mainstream retailers moving to incorporate cannabis beauty into their product assortment, including Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Ulta, American Eagle and Alice + Olivia
