International designers including Vivienne Westwood, Delpozo, Y/Project, Alexander Terekhov, Esteban Cortazar, Koché and Marques’ Almeida created dedicated graphics to support their national teams.

The collection launched online this week ahead of the opening of the World Cup in Russia in 14 June, and underlines the growing link between streetwear and sports.

Vivienne Westwood designed a crisp white t-shirt with black graphics and the words ‘Punk’ and ‘Mirror the world’, while Koché’s sweatshirt features the colours of the French flag across the front and back. For Japan, Kolor emblazoned a red dot against a white background, referencing the Rising Sun of the Japanese flag, and Delpozo printed an imaginary team of stylish fashionistas for the Spanish design.

Meanwhile, Ottolinger came up with a style inspired by graffiti and rebellion for Switzerland, and PushButton referenced the Korean fan club Red Devil with a red logo for South Korea.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of the Yoox Soccer Couture collection will be donated to Stars for Children, a charitable organisation that supports children in need through sports activities.
