An expert in "wearables", the Xtreme Distribution company, created in Biarritz in 1994 by Franck Bywalski, made a name for itself by, in 2007, becoming the exclusive distributor of Go Pro cameras in France and several European countries.

Since then, the company has landed distribution deals with Skullcandy for its hats, Recon eyewear and masks, high tech Incase bags, Mymyk microphones and SanDisk IT accessories.
At the beginning of this October, the French group added another notch to its belt. The Xtrementreprise holding was created and took over SagemCom. A major operation with the integration of a structure, called XGem, including 225 employees, specialised notably in the manufacturing of television decoders.
Xtrementreprise has also announced that it will be the distributor for the Superbrand surf brand for Europe: "Based in Biarritz, the entirely new entity will concentrate on direct distribution in France, Spain and Portugal, all while managing the other existing distributors, namely for the UK, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Greece and Russia."

The sales and marketing structure will be led by Rémi Chaussemiche, previously at O’Neill, Insight, Rusty and Hurley. The California brand, founded in 2008 and known for its surf boards but which also has a textiles line, was presented in Hossegor in mid-October, within the framework of the world surfing championship.
In parallel, the group is taking direct control of the e-commerce site Label-Park. Dedicated to the world of board sports, the site notably offers a liquidation solution to the brands in the sector. Since its launch in 2008 by Giovanni Chaffron, the site, which lists 400,000 members, worked with some 400 brands.
