With festival season a key focal point of the fashion calendar these days, Yoox and Opening Ceremony have teamed up on an eight-piece collection that they said is “celebrating festival spirit and individual style.”

It’s a further step in the evolution of Yoox from a company specialising in purely an outlet offer to more and more new-season exclusives.

The company has teamed up with the New York City-based label with designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon drawing “from the vibrant energy that emanates from music festivals all around the world and Yoox’s eclectic and colourful spirit” to create the exclusive offer.

The capsule collection features “a playful mix of relaxed silhouettes, bright colourways and summery florals.” There are sweetheart neckline dresses, empire waist tops, crop tops, printed pants and bike shorts, all of which will be available from the middle of this month.

As mentioned, exclusive collections are a key part of the Yoox offer and the company tends to opt for high-profile or quirky link-ups that will make an impact and grab headlines. Last month it launched the Amendment x Yoox sustainability-focused collab deigned by Marissa Petteruti, a Parsons BFA Fashion design graduate and winner of the 2018 Yooxygen Award. And in March it unveiled the Yoox x Souvf collection for International Women’s Day.
