Garments shimmer and glisten in the summer sun, as festival-goers update their wardrobe with sparkling new styles. A key trend for women’s jackets, bikers are decorated with golden sequins, as other styles juxtapose embellished sleeves with plain fabric bodies. Meanwhile, playful mini dresses make a statement with colourful tribal patterns, complemented by matching makeup.

Glastonbury men looked to travel and adventure for inspiration, creating a look of the Festival Globe-Trotter. Africana print shirts are teamed with colour pop shorts, while smart staples like button-down shirts and deck shoes are worn with patterned totes and baggy ethnic pants. Tropical caps look new when styled with paisley scarves, which also help keep the hot sun off the back of the neck.

A new must-have for any festival trend-setter, sunglasses are revamped with big, bold designs. Oversized proportions are key, as round black-out lenses incorporate thick contrast frames and heart-shaped styles are executed with flip-up constructions. Mirrored surfaces were also a popular look at Glastonbury this season, complete with colourful tints.

The Belt Bag

Fusing fashion with function, hands-free belt bag accessories offer standout additions to the festival wardrobe. Multicoloured canvas styles inspire a look of retro sport with bold blocking and contrast detailing, while black leather shapes express attitude with 3D metal studs. Photoreal graphics lend a quirky feel with body part imagery.
